WHAT IS THE HISTORY?
Sold to a lady in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Stayed with her till she passed away. I have the original 1962 title, owners manual, even the card from the salesman who sold it to her.
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!
HEATER BLOWER WORKS! WIPERS WORK!
GAS GAUGE WORKS! RADIO DELETE CAR!
HOW IS THE BODY AS FAR AS RUST?
I consider it good, I put several pictures of the underside on the listing.
HOW IS THE PAINT?
Driver quality, not bad and not the perfect show car. No dents or dings, starting to dull a little on the top.
HOW IS THE INTERIOR?
Seat covers and carpet are new, headliner good, door panels original with some wear. Some of the rope molding around the edge of the door is worn bad.
HOW IS THE GLASS?
Windshield must have been replaced, it clear with no cracks, other glass nice used condition.
HOW IS THE CHROME AND STAINLESS?
Stainless steel real good, back bumper nice, front has some dulling.
HOW DOES THE ENGINE RUN?
Very good, I'm pretty sure its a 170 cubic inch. It runs very good with more power than you might guess. The lady kept most receipts and has one where it was rebuilt long ago with 79107 miles on it. I hear no knocks or rattles, it does puff a little blue smoke on a cold start.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION?
It's a good shifting automatic, I think Mercury called it a Merc-O-Matic.

CAN I DRIVE THE CAR HOME?
I never recommend driving a Classic Car home on a long trip. Reason being, I only do short test drives like a garage would, the cars are inventory not my personal car I have owned for years and learned to trust.
