Restored 1966 Mercury Comet.

Rare, Y code, 390 big block car, with the original engine. The engine has been fully rebuilt and has low miles. Equipped with high performance aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, Holley carburetor and a high-performance camshaft. Runs absolutely fantastic, drives excellent. Rebuilt Toploader 4 speed manual transmission. Ford 9" posi rear end with 3.25 gears. Disc brake conversion on front. Stops perfectly. Aftermarket air-conditioning blows ice cold. Retro-style AM/FM radio. Cruise control has been added and works perfectly. Vintage-style Moon tachometer. Factory gauge package with oil pressure, coolant temperature and voltmeter gauges. Heavy-duty aluminum radiator keeps the engine running cool. Dual exhaust with long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers (sounds great). Brand new white letter tires on brand new 15" chrome Rev wheels. Original color, code V, Emberglow metallic paint. Nice paint job, looks great. Vinyl top is excellent. Body is super straight and extremely solid - no rust anywhere. Never wrecked or damaged - still has all factory sheetmetal. The underside is very nice, clean and rust-free (look at the photos). The factory black interior is very nice - no issues. The original door Data Tag is in place and reads: Body 62A, Color V, Trim 11, Date 22K, DSO 52, Axle 1, Trans 1. Everything on this car works as you'd expect. It runs perfect, drives fantastic, stops great. There are no leaks anywhere at all, it does not drip any fluids. It drives down the highway very well and can sit and idle in traffic with the A/C on and not overheat. This is the perfect hot rod cruiser. I would not hesitate to drive this across the country tomorrow. This car has been restored and has very few miles since restoration. The 5 digit odometer reads 76,325 miles.
