    This painting belonged to my grandfather who purchased it at a charity auction sometime in the 1990s.  In the 1980s he had commissioned Mackeraghan to paint a mural in his furniture showroom, which was designed by Pat Plaxico.  The artist was known for his strong connection with High Point and the furniture market.  Many of his works can still be found there.
    This painting has always impressed me with the vibrant colors and the expressions on the clown's faces.  It is hard to let this go, but I don't have room to display it anymore.
    Condition: Overall very good.
