    Description

    Up for sale is a brand new Carbon Fiber Tube that measures 72mm OD 70mm ID X 810mm in length. This is the same carbon fiber tube that was originally designed for our Apotel OTA and offered with the Carl Zeiss 62mm C objectives as a Telementor style telescope. The C objective slides right into this tube. It only takes a few steps to complete an adapter for the Starlight Instruments focus unit which will fit right into this tube. We can provide details should you have a Zeiss 63mm C Objective on hand. Apotel offered complete telescopes for several years during a period when we had a number of these lenses available to us. Due to the difficulty of obtaning additional objectives, we are offering the CF tubes on e-bay for a limited time. This is a fairly simple telescope project since the CF tube does not require any modification. Our CF tubes were expensive to build in such limited quantities. Once they are gone, you will have a difficult time finding another CF tube that was actually designed for this type project. Thanks for viewing.
