    Description

    Lot of six NOS Osmiroid calligraphy nibs is part of an assortment leftover from a hobby shop/art supplies store that closed in the early 1990s. The shop stocked supplies for a local calligraphy instructor. Since 1992, the box of nibs has been stored away and is only now being sorted through.
    All nibs are made by Osmiroid of Gosport, Hampshire, England, a company which operated there from 1953-1989 and was famous for its 22 carat gold-plated nibs.
    This lot includes six different nibs for Regular and De-Luxe Pens: 17817 - Italic Fine Inter Medium, 17833 - Italic Broad Oblique, 17855 - Rola Broad Soft, 17823 - Italic Broad Straight, 17831 - Italic Medium Oblique, and 17829 - Italic Fine Oblique.
    None of the nib packets have ever been opened, and most say "New style 'Easy-change' Nib Unit" on the front of the packet and "will not fit the 65, 75, 85, 95 or 125 pens" on the back of the packet.
    Some of the packets have smudge marks on the front where original price tags were removed.
