This listing is for a vintage German Bavaria porcelain sauce or gravy boat and a set of 4 saucers by Mitterteich in the "LILAC" pattern. The sauce boat with attached under plate measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.4 cm high to the top of the handle, and is 8 3/4 inches wide across the bottom of the under plate; the saucers are 6 inches or 15.2 cm in diameter. They feature a white ground with a beautiful scalloped edge on the cover and a raised design in the porcelain. They are further enhanced with bouquets of lilacs in pink, white and purple and are further enhanced with gold on the rims. They are marked "MITTERTEICH BAVARIA LILAC GERMANY 02", along with an "M" and a laurel leaf. The saucer boat as a small chip on the rim of the under plate and the saucers are in excellent condition.
